First Post--Mid semester dump
It's what, November 9th? The semester is half over and this is what I have to show...
This is my "Senior Thesis Film" The story comes from a mash-up of the Odyssey and Candide, with a bit of a nautical tale thrown in for good measure.
The Odyssey in a way boils down to a story about coming home.
The structure of Candide is what I'm interested in, one event is immediately proceeded by another sometimes non-sequitur event.
Below are the storyboards, character sketches, backgrounds, and test animations that I have produced so far. I have been working primarily in Maya, with rigging done primarily by me, with some assistance from one of my teachers.
